Description:   Opened: 2003-11-10 06:32 0000 
This is a collection of created and/or salvaged GPL arabic fonts from the
ArabEyes project.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install the eBuild.
2. Edit your XF86Config or reload XFS.
3. Enjoy your new fonts

Actual Results:  
I had approximately 40 new Arabic fonts available on my system. 

Expected Results:  
Nothing. It performed exactly as expected!

Hi, sorry for the delay. Finally we have put font.eclass in Portage,
and we are able to look at font packages. If you are still interested
in getting this ebuild into Portage , we are pleased to include it to
CVS. However, the ebuild has several things to be modified before
that.

1) The ebuild misses ebuild header. See the top three lines in 
/usr/portage/skel.ebuild. We ask every contributer to assign 
ebuilds' copyright to Gentoo Foundation.
2) LISENCE should match one of /usr/portage/licenses/*. From
http://cvs.arabeyes.org/viewcvs/*checkout*/art/khotot/license.txt?rev=1.1
I can see this font package is released under GPL-2. It should
be GPL-2 then.
3) Rewrite the ebuild with new font.eclass. See
ttf-bitstream-vera-1.10-r3 and sazanami-20040629 for example.
(You'll see it's not that hard to rewrite yours when you refer to
other ebuilds using font.eclass)

Please reattach your ebuild when you finish.
