Commit failures due to QA issues display

  Please fix these important QA issues first.
  RepoMan sez: "Make your QA payment on time and you'll never see the likes of me."

in all _green_.  This looks so non-fatal that I have repeatedly failed to notice the failure.  Please make this look _red and catchy_.  I will break the tree less often when you do ;-)

This is fixed in 2.1.8 and 2.2_rc64.
