Please stabilize media-sound/soundconverter-1.4.4 for x86 and amd64. In tree for more than one month and no open bugs. Reproducible: Always Tested by myself on otherwise stable amd64 and works like a charm.
Might want to wait a few days: # ChangeLog for media-sound/soundconverter # Copyright 1999-2009 Gentoo Foundation; Distributed under the GPL v2 # $Header: /var/cvsroot/gentoo-x86/media-sound/soundconverter/ChangeLog,v 1.14 2009/12/27 14:13:23 hanno Exp $ 27 Dec 2009; Hanno Boeck <hanno@gentoo.org> soundconverter-1.4.4.ebuild: Switch to gnome2 eclass, fixes icon caching issues. *soundconverter-1.4.4 (24 Dec 2009) 24 Dec 2009; Sebastian Pipping <sping@gentoo.org> +soundconverter-1.4.4.ebuild: Bump to 1.4.4
Waited three months now, no bugs appeared. Should be fine to stabilize.
Arches will be added by x86-archteam in 7 days. Complain now if not appropriate. Thanks.
Arches, please test and mark stable: Targets x86, amd64
Tested on x86: Works fine, but strangely it now gives this error upon start. SoundConverter 1.4.4 Traceback (most recent call last): File "/usr/lib/python2.6/site-packages/pygst.py", line 28, in <module> import sys KeyError: 'pygst' using Gstreamer version: 0.10.28, Python binding version: 0.10.17 using deprecated gnomevfssrc using 2 thread(s) Still, everything seems to work fine, I'd say it is good to go.
(In reply to comment #5) > File "/usr/lib/python2.6/site-packages/pygst.py", line 28, in <module> > import sys > KeyError: 'pygst' Same failure over here, but apart from that it really seems to be ok.
amd64 stable
stable x86, thanks Thomas and Andreas, strange but works, closing
