Looks like you may need to remerge setuptools?
I've already tried to do so - but iotop emerging keeps on failing.
This problem is related to dev-python/setuptools-0.6.10 -- there is no problem with previous stable version (0.6.8-r1). So I think there is a conflict and both dev-python/setuptools-0.6.10 and sys-process/iotop-0.2.1 cannot be marked as stable (?)

*** Bug 290305 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. ***
(In reply to comment #4) The problem was caused by internal copy of setuptools-0.6_rc6 (setuptools-0.6c6-py2.4.egg).
iotop-0.3.2-r1 passes all tests here on x86 and works with setuptools-0.6.8-r1 and 0.6.10.
stable x86, thanks Andreas
Stable for HPPA. I'll check for PPC too.
Stable for PPC too.
why is alpha here? Closing
(In reply to comment #12) > why is alpha here? > > Closing > I mis-clicked and it was suppose to be amd64. Sorry.
amd64 stable
