The problem is fixed in 0.6.9 , or what is it you are saying? If so, which version is broken?

Bug is fixed in net-wireless/hostapd-0.7.0. Please provide ebuild for latest development branch of hostapd: 0.7.1.
Well, it's great that it is fixed in 0.7.x, but I also want it fixed in 0.6.x, since it is the stable version that I plan to get stabilized here, once every known bug is fixed. 0.7.1 will be added soon, be patient :-)
