Description Tassilo Horn 2010-01-04 07:44:03 UTC
Since I upgraded to net-im/skype-2.1.0.47, it won't start anymore. All I get is:

% /usr/bin/skype
zsh: segmentation fault /usr/bin/skype

I install it with USE="-qt-static", but even with +qt-static I get a segfault.

I've ran it with strace, and the log is attached.

Reproducible: Always

I'm really sorry, but searching for "skype segmentation fault" resulted (and still results) in no match, and I didn't think about the abbreviation. IMHO, a bug summary shouldn't use abbreviations, especially when the summary is basically only an error message. This would make searching much easier, especially for non-native speakers.
