I test shiny new emul-linux-* packages and found that gtk applications can't find gdk-pixbuf.loaders: Cannot open pixbuf loader module file '/etc/gtk-2.0/gdk-pixbuf.loaders' But, this file is in /etc/gtk-2.0/i686-pc-linux-gnu, not in /etc/gtk-2.0/. So, please, fix the path
Strange... For me, some 32-bit gtk applications work in spite of these warnings (Vuescan, for example), but Adobe Acrobat Reader has severe problems (app-text/acroread-9.2). Running under Fluxbox it starts, but is immediately iconised, with the following errors: (acroread:9731): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: g_object_ref: assertion `G_IS_OBJECT (object)' failed (acroread:9731): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: g_object_unref: assertion `G_IS_OBJECT (object)' failed (acroread:9731): Gdk-CRITICAL **: gdk_window_set_icon_list: assertion `GDK_IS_PIXBUF (pixbuf)' failed (acroread:9731): GdkPixbuf-CRITICAL **: gdk_pixbuf_get_width: assertion `GDK_IS_PIXBUF (pixbuf)' failed (acroread:9731): GdkPixbuf-CRITICAL **: gdk_pixbuf_get_height: assertion `GDK_IS_PIXBUF (pixbuf)' failed Only when selecting 'maximize' from the Fluxbox toolbar can I see the acroread window.
I use acroready every day and it works ok for me, but maybe I don't suffer it because I run it from gnome with metacity window manager :-/
Fixed in new set
Yay, thanks, acroread works again!
