The 3rd version of TeamSpeak has been released today (2009-12-19). Can you please make an ebuild for it ? PS : An ebuild for amd64 is also needed. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce:
I wrote a quick-and-dirty ebuild for myself, it's far away from beeing perfect. but it works.

I tried to remove builtin-qt from the USE variable but it seems that, since my Qt version is higher than 4.5.3, TeamSpeak doesn't work if builtin-qt isn't activated. We should remove this possibility from the ebuild.
Here is an updated ebuild for beta2.

beta3 already for the server. still beta2 for the client.
New versions : - client : still beta2 - server : beta5
Created attachment 213801 [details] media-sound/teamspeak3-client-bin-3.0.0_beta5
New ebuild for client-beta5.
I've added the teamspeak 3 ebuilds as following pkgspec: * media-sound/teamspeak-client-bin (3.0.0_beta5) * media-sound/teamspeak-server-bin (3.0.0_beta5) Whilst the latter is still package.mask'ed as I didn't add an rc script to it yet, and want to add IUSE="doc" to it. Also, I intend to add client/server sdk ebuilds for ts3 aswell once those two are *both* ready-to-use. Please test at least the client version. I'll go more into detail (wrt server) tonight.
Please remember to add server beta 6, which according to teamspeak's site is critical: "Please note that 3.0.0-beta6 of the TeamSpeak 3 Server is a CRITICAL update! (fixes an intermittent flooding bug)"
beta11 in tree
(In reply to comment #13) > beta11 in tree > Client version is now beta8, a new ebuild has not been published... (I don't know how to publish one)
please do not poke each time a new beta for either client or server side comes out. I'm watching regularly, however, I won't/can't update *daily*, but I will do as soon as possible :)
