The kdelibs ebuild depends on kdebase-runtime-meta from version 4.3.4. This is IMO both unneeded and non-logical. I use only few applications from KDE (namely Okular and Gwenview) and they work without problems without the runtime installed (tested both with older versions and 4.3.4), therefore I think the dependency is unneeded. It is non-logical -- the ebuild states these are the libraries that are needed for anything KDE related. That is not true for runtime programs (they are not libraries and they are not needed). And these programs from the runtime depend on the libs. Therefore I think this should either depend on few selected ones of the programs (like kded, but drkonqui is not needed, kstart, kinfocenter as well, etc) or put the whole dependency under something like kdebase-meta. It wants to install some 20 packages I do not have and need. Thanks very much Reproducible: Always
