Description Sébastien Fabbro (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2009-11-24 17:12:02 UTC
Please do.

It will fail src_test with USE="cm" but this is a known bug in the test, reported upstream (bug #276061).

Comment 2 Christian Faulhammer (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2009-11-25 20:52:26 UTC
Argh, sorry, I should read the whole entries...USE=cm was enabled.
Comment 3 Christian Faulhammer (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2009-11-25 20:57:30 UTC
This even happens with USE=-*
Comment 4 Jeroen Roovers (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2009-12-08 03:12:00 UTC
Same test errors on HPPA. With USE=gev it's all fine though, and the tests/*.sh.in files suggest that for the Cygwin and Darwin kernel name (`uname' output) targets this is "fixed" by sedding MEV -> GEV and CM -> MM in the output, whereas for Linux this surprisingly isn't being done. The default USE should thus be GEV + MM then and you could probably go and fix this, or disable the tests that depend on this behaviour.

Meanwhile, stable for HPPA.
Comment 5 Sébastien Fabbro (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2009-12-08 17:34:17 UTC
Please test with USE="gev mm", the rest of the tests are buggy. However, I will keep the default as MeV and cm, since it is what is most used by HEP physicists.
Comment 6 Christian Faulhammer (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2009-12-09 22:57:02 UTC
x86 stable then.
Comment 7 Markus Meier gentoo-dev 2009-12-10 20:48:33 UTC
amd64 stable
Comment 8 Raúl Porcel (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2009-12-28 18:54:12 UTC
sparc stable, closing
