Please do. It will fail src_test with USE="cm" but this is a known bug in the test, reported upstream (bug #276061).

This even happens with USE=-*
Same test errors on HPPA. With USE=gev it's all fine though, and the tests/*.sh.in files suggest that for the Cygwin and Darwin kernel name (`uname' output) targets this is "fixed" by sedding MEV -> GEV and CM -> MM in the output, whereas for Linux this surprisingly isn't being done. The default USE should thus be GEV + MM then and you could probably go and fix this, or disable the tests that depend on this behaviour. Meanwhile, stable for HPPA.
Please test with USE="gev mm", the rest of the tests are buggy. However, I will keep the default as MeV and cm, since it is what is most used by HEP physicists.
