Description Mikhail I. Izmestev 2009-11-09 21:34:59 UTC
When i try to mount ntfs partition by gnome-mount error message displayed what missing mount option.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:

/var/log/messages:
Nov 10 01:18:54 im-host hald[14601]: 01:18:54.031 [I] hald_dbus.c:4149: failed with 'org.freedesktop.Hal.Device.Volume.InvalidMountOption' 'The option 'locale=ru_RU.UTF-8' is not allowed for uid=1000'

This option removed from upstream: http://cgit.freedesktop.org/hal/commit/?id=a0d82b80f775faf666aa699f354338098286ff20

To solve problem i need add to /etc/hal/fdi/policy/10-ntfs3g.fdi line:
<append key="volume.mount.valid_options" type="strlist">locale=</append>

or remove "locale=" option from gconf /system/storage/default_options/ntfs-3g/mount_options
