This x264 version will be needed soon by a couple of other apps.

It builds fine but there is this warning:
 * QA Notice: Package has poor programming practices which may compile
 *            fine but exhibit random runtime failures.
 * gstx264enc.c:728: warning: implicit declaration of function ‘x264_nal_encode’

Therefore I seriously doubt it works.

This has been fixed in gst-plugins-x264-0.10.13 (released today, not yet in portage).

0.10.13 with patches is in the tree
