hmm, would it be a problem to wait another 30 days?
if not I'll do a little renaming (dev-cpp/Ice -> dev-libs/Ice) and deprecating (IceRuby and IcePy are going to get dropped in favour if corresponding use flags for dev-libs/Ice since upstream decided to merge the projects again).
Would also have some other benefits like cross-compilability (I think there's a bug around for that one), c#-bindings-support, etc.
The only missing bindings would be java (which would also be needed for the grid-admin-tool), but for that we should be able to create more than one java package out of one ebuild or do a splitted ebuild.

dev-libs/Ice-3.4.1 is already stable.
