Comment 1 Gilles Dartiguelongue (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2009-08-20 06:18:16 UTC
do you have shared-mime-info and/or xdg-utils installed ?
Comment 2 Lance R. Vick 2010-01-14 21:01:53 UTC
I was able to reproduce this on a fresh stage3 install, switching straight away to the 10.1 developer profile then compiling syslog-ng which pulls in dev-libs/glib-2.20.5-r1

I did not have xdg-utils or dependencies installed nor did it attempt to pull them in. The only dependency syslog-ng had was glib.

Attempting to emerge xdg-utils attempts to pull in glib as well, which of course fails again the same way.

And if you temporarily disable FEATURES=tests ?

Thanks
