the most recent svn version (svn co svn://svn.icculus.org/loki_setupdb) has some bugs fixed and most importantly allows usage of libxml2 and libxml.

The default is still libxml. As I am about to propose deprecation and removal of libxml, I would encourage you to hardcode --with-libxml2 in configure.

In light of regular security issues in libxml and libxml2, please end the static linking, bug 251101.

Fixed in new loki_patch (loki_setupdb can be removed)
