Currently there is no stable version of dev-python/django in portage tree. 1.0.2-r1 has been in portage tree a little bit over one month now. No bugs exist for this package in bugzilla. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce:
django 1.1 should be pretty fine for stabilizing (no open bugs, over 30 day periode), cc-ing x86 and amd64 archs, maybe others too?

Created attachment 206183 [details, diff] fix failed test Ok, this patch should fix the test errors. I'm changing pythonpath from build/* to "." (top level in tarball) The problem is that 2.6 has changed build behavior which results in distutils omitting conf/locale/ when generating build/*. One important lesson of this is that "python setup.py build" and "python setup.py install" generates different file lists.
