Description James Horton 2009-07-07 16:45:09 UTC
Outgoing mail broken when gcc-4.3.2 is used to compile Seamonkey. Incoming
mail works fine. Switched back to gcc-4.1.2 and recompiled seamonkey
and now outgoing emial (using seamonkey) works again. Just a simple
reocmbile with the older gcc-4.1.2 fixed the problem.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.gcc-config <4.3.2>
2.emerge seamonkey
3./usr/bin/seamonkey <latches up when outgoing mail sent>

Actual Results:
Outging email borked.

Expected Results:
Work before (many years)....

Looks like a gcc-4.3.2 problem with seamonkey 1.1.17.

This should be fixed in 1.1.17-r1, if you would please test and let us know would be appreciated. If we do not hear yay or nay in next 72 hours we will assume it is fixed.

Assuming that this was indeed the same as the other bug...
