The ebuild is a good example of which ebuilds we should _not_ keep in the tree: - the X USE flags, if disabled, will cause the econf to fail (broken configure.ac); - the gtk USE flag actually patches out gtk support; - it still uses gtk 1.2, have fun!; - it does not depend on the x11-proto packages for the proper includes; - the latest upstream version 2.0.1 was added in 2002, two revisions later the code is likely bad; - it ignores CFLAGS set at compile, it pre-strips files; - it provides an old modutils configuration file...
