Description Steve Evans 2009-06-12 12:26:55 UTC
If I have lastfm enabled in Amarok 2.1 it crashes on start up. This happens if either of the lastfm options "Submit Tracks" or "Retrieve similar artists" is enabled,

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Enable lastfm
2.Use Test login button, which reports success
3.Select OK on lastfm dialog
4.Select OK on Option dialog
5.Amarok crashes
6.Amarok now crashes on run up

Expected Results:
Not crash

Output from amarok --debug when the crash happens
Comment 2 Jorge Manuel B. S. Vicetto (RETIRED) Gentoo Infrastructure gentoo-dev 2009-07-08 14:25:51 UTC
Does this still happen with amarok-2.1.1? I have last.fm configured and it doesn't crash amarok.
Looking at your CFLAGS, you should drop -funroll-loops - check the "Compilation Optimization Guide" [1] for more info.

Comment 3 Steve Evans 2009-07-08 16:59:36 UTC
Yes it still happens in 2.1.1

I have removed -funroll-loops and rebuilt amarok. The problem still happens.

There is this upstream bug report that may be the same problem: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=191828
Comment 4 白川間瀬流 2009-11-17 18:57:40 UTC
I have a standard 0815 without optimized CFLAGS and amarok works fine with last.fm :/ cant reproduce it
Comment 5 Jorge Manuel B. S. Vicetto (RETIRED) Gentoo Infrastructure gentoo-dev 2009-11-20 14:45:18 UTC
Since the upstream bug was closed as fixed and I wasn't able to reproduce it, I'm closing the bug.
Please reopen if you still hit this bug with amarok-2.2.1-r1.
