if the emerge fails please attach emerge -info, emerge -vp net-im/kadu net-libs/libgadu.
If you have another error please explain it more specific.

I cannot reproduce it here. Please attach the complete build log and try again with -j1.
Comment 4 Maciej Mrozowski gentoo-dev 2009-05-27 09:05:45 UTC
Wipe out any libgadu you have installed outside of Gentoo, like those in /usr/local.
They are probably interfering.
Attach *full* build log, maybe there's hint which libs are really picked by cmake.

This bug looks a lot like bug 262488

Do you have manually compiled libgadu in /usr/local or any other location different than /usr?
(so do you have /usr/local/include/libgadu.h?)

Do not take line from build log: "#define GG_CONFIG_HAVE_PTHREAD" seriously - that check using grep is broken.

Yes, i unfortunately found libgadu.h in /usr/local/include
Remove it solved the problem.
