Description Dnix 2003-08-22 02:36:09 UTC
Hi,
I would ask for integrate in Gentoo the mach64 card support (think that all the
old rage mobility are based on this chip). so you can add in the USE tags the
mach64 option and when download the xfree-drm, if that tag is enabled, you take
the driver from
http://dri.sourceforge.net/snapshots/bleeding-edge/mach64-xxxxxxxx-linux.i386.tar.bz2
because now the xfree-drm take the driver from
http://dri.sourceforge.net/snapshots/ where the mach64 is not in list.
Thank's,
Dnix

I've been planning on this for the past week or two but it's some work to get it going in the ebuild and I haven't yet had the time.

as I can see we have to wait that they move the video cards from the USE tag to a VIDEO_CARD tag. You think they do this quickly?

Added in xfree-drm-4.3.0-r7. Bryan Stine ported the patches.
