Same error on x86; no makefile was generated in the work directory. I tried removing anything from MAKEOPTS, but it didn't help.
Comment 2 Billy DeVincentis 2009-05-20 01:24:59 UTC
I cannot emerge it either on X86,

Comment 3 Billy DeVincentis 2009-05-23 01:12:51 UTC
I have commented out eapi=2 at the top of the ebuild and it has now happily begun to compile. I don't know yet if it will complete but I will report back later. BTW, none of the other koffice ebuilds had eapi=2 in them so I wonder if this wasn't an accident on the part of one of the developers.
Comment 4 Billy DeVincentis 2009-05-23 03:08:36 UTC
Okay, that is definitely the problem because I just emerged it. Please fix this mistake in the main portage tree.

I can verify that to be the case. I have be able to finish compilation on the x86_64, and the x86 is mid-emerge. I have no reason to believe it will fail, but will report such if it happens.

fixed, i brought it back to EAPI-0
