CCing x11 herd as the xorg-server ebuild comes from their overlay...

xorg-server 1.6.1.901-r1 is in portage. Try again with that. If that doesn't help, then you might need a newer set of emul-linux-x86-xlibs, which we're not responsible for. Thanks

Any update in this?
Similarly..
Please add the mesa intel drivers (/usr/lib32/dri/{i810,i915,i965}_dri.so) to the upcoming emul-linux-x86-xlibs-2009xxxx release. Without it google-earth will fall back to slow software rendering on intel hardware.
app-emulation/emul-linux-x86-xlibs-20091226 includes updated X packages, please try them, if not fixed, please specify the lib you think is missing in a reworded summary Good luck
I'd like to reopen this bug, as apparently all support for intel hardware was dropped from the app-emulation/emul-linux-x86-xlibs-20091226. The mesa libraries shipped in this version seem to have been built without specifying "--with-dri-drivers=i965" As mentioned in #10 I would expect to find /usr/lib32/dri/i810_dri.so, /usr/lib32/dri/i915_dri.so, and /usr/lib32/dri/i965_dri.so
We are on it in bug 290153
