When you are connecting to a server using gmpc and there is a password on the server, even if you have set it in the profile, you are asked to enter the password again and you cannot save it. (when I'm trying to select '' the dialog window closes) Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Set a password on your MPD server 2. Open gmpc and connect to the server 3. Try to save your password Actual Results: [See description] Expected Results: The password should be saved when asked.
this is not gnome. Don't touch things when you are not certain of the effect it has, thanks.
Can't reproduce. Are you in audio group? Are your home directory permissions correct? You can do something like: # chown -R user:group ~/user (Has this been reported upstream?)
I'm in the audio group and every file in my /home/user directory belongs to my user (and I have the rights to read/write .gmpc directory too). I didn't report the bug upstream, but I found that someone else did: http://musicpd.org/mantis/view.php?id=2367
Reopening to get a patch from upstream, don't know if it's the correct one in the upstream bug yet (see URL field)
