Created attachment 186491 [details, diff] Patch to allow plasma-workspace-4.2.1-r1 to compile
Confirmed, experiencing the same thing here. The problem however, lies in /usr/include/fixx11h.h which calls for functions that doesn't exist, messing everything up. The same error happens when trying to compile kwin and ksmserver. Fix + revbump?
Confirmed with same versions of gcc/glibc/portage

This bug is fixed by reemerging x11-proto/renderproto which shortly had an update (0.9.3-r1) which got hardmasked pretty fast, quite possibly because of these errors. Set FIXED please.
