This is a libc for the Atmel AVR microcontroller. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. 2. 3. ***NOTE*** I am not sure how to classify this for the LICENSE variable. Different parts of it are under different licenses. To quote the LICENSE file: "All of this is supposed to be Free Software, Open Source, DFSG-free, GPL-compatible, and OK to use in both free and proprietary applications." I will attach the license file so someone can make the determination.

Created attachment 15705 [details] ebuld for version 20030512 This ebuild puts things in the correct places.
Created attachment 21545 [details] Avr Libc version 1.0.2 for the Atmel microcontrollers I don't know if this works or not, I am testing it now. The older version of the file does not work. It tries to download a snapshot that no longer exists.
Thanks, in my current projects I am not using the C compiler, so I have not gotten around to continued testing of this. I will download this new ebuild and try it out. Any idea how we can get these ebuilds submitted to CVS? I put mine through the ebuild lint program that is available and there are no errors. I just don't know what else to do. Thanks! Scott =)
Well, so much for trying to test it this evening. Evidentally the Savanah systems were hacked, and they are upgrading the hardware and security so I can't download the tarball. ;) I will test it when I can download the tarball. Also, I think all future ebuilds should be based in the dev-embedded directory. It seems logical they should go there. I will update the GCC and binutils ebuilds when I get a chance. Thanks! Scott =)
Created attachment 25086 [details] avr-libc-1.0.2-r1.ebuild Savanah.nongnu.org changed the layout of their FTP server. This new ebuild changed the download location so that it is correctly retrieved.
So how do we get this ebuild into portage? Scott =)
