If you have /etc in a subversion repository, the directories contain .svn directories with various files in it. From sys-apps/module-init-tools-3.5 it now opens the .svn/* files in /etc/modprobe.d and complains on all their content. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Have hidden files in /etc/modprobe.d 2. Lots of warnings are printed during boot 3. Profit! Actual Results: During "modules" and "alsasound" init it complains over lines in hidden files not starting with module names. Expected Results: It should not read hidden files.
