Actualy kde3 ebuilds should not use eapi2 until eclass is eapized. Carlo if you want me to do it i can but i want to know if you really want it and will use it cause otherwise it would just be wasting resources from my side.
Well, it works. What counts is to free our users from annoyances of previous versions of Portage as quickly as possible. Especially when it is stupidly dieing. The eclass change is on my list. Shouldn't be a big issue, just needs some testing as silly errors can turn out to be pretty catastrophic.
