Description Paul Armstrong-Taylor 2009-02-16 04:40:34 UTC
After emerge -qvuDN world, portage wants to reinstall libstdcc++-v3-3.3.6 without nptl and build flags (not sure why). This build fails. I have tried changing CFLAGS, using "-j1" etc but no luck. I tried some fo the suggestions in the other bugs on this ebuild, but none of them worked.

If it is possible to get it to work that would be great. If not, do I really need to reinstall it and could I just mask it?

I am attaching the build log below.

This is my first bug submission, so let me know if I have missed some important info, just let me know.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.emerge libstdc++-v3-3.3.6
2.
3.

Actual Results:
Emerge fails

Expected Results:
Emerge succeeds

Uhm now that I notice Paul's log, mine is quite different although the problem is happening for the identical same reasons (rebuilding with -build, -ntpl flags).

I'll attach my emerge log, tell me if that is not related so I'll file a new bug

Comment 6 Michael 2009-02-16 09:40:36 UTC
exactly same problem here on x86.

It seems that the ebuild was changed in the last 1-2 days and it broke it.
