Bugzilla Bug 253886

KPresenter presents no options for creating a new file on startup when started
via the KDE K menu or "run" dialog (first screenshot). Only when started via a
terminal (an unfriendly alternative for many users) such options appear (second
screenshot).

KPresenter started normally

KPresenter started from the command line.

I guess this is how it should always be.

have you tried running kbuildsycoca? please attach emerge --info. works fine
here...
