I don't need files, such as a document, info and man when I install Gentoo in a 
machine with small disk capacity.

Therefore, I propose FILTER variable.
Example,
If you set FILTER="document", portage wouldn't install /usr/share/doc/*
If you set FILTER="info", portage wouldn't install /usr/share/info/*
If you set FILTER="man", portage wouldn't install /usr/share/man/*


And I proposed a feature not to install unnecessary documents on 
http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=9988. If we have FILTER, the feature can 
use FILTER instead of FEATURES variable. e.g. FILTER="other_lang_document"
