Created attachment 178583 [details] ebuild for SimGear-1.9.0
Comment on attachment 178583 [details] ebuild for SimGear-1.9.0 That's just a copy of simgear-1.0.0.ebuild
NAK, ebuild doesn't work. Patches from "files/" have to be renamed otherwise the renamed ebuild won't find them. Furthermore, the -gcc44.patch doesn't apply correctly. And some deps are missing. I'm working on it and will attach the ebuild here as soon as it works.
Created attachment 178616 [details] Ebuild for simgear 1.9.0 Ebuild for simgear 1.9.0 compiles here on x86, not tested yet though, FG is still compiling Use "files/simgear-1.0.0-test.patch" from portage-tree but rename to "files/simgear-1.9.0-test.patch". I dropped the -gcc44.patch since I don't have a gcc-4.4 here to test it and the patch didn't apply.
The new ebuild works. The only issue is the location of openscenegraph. This ebuild expects to find it in media-libs but openscenegraph in the sunrise overlay is located in media-gfx. I followed the sunrise convention when I installed openscenegraph so I had to make a small mod to this ebuild. But simgear 1.9.0 built without issues on my amd64 system. I am emerging flightgear 1.9.0 now.
I put it on my local repository along with openscenegraph and with the needed patch, and it's working fine on my ~amd64 system. I upgraded from 1.0, no problem have been encoutered. Flightgear 1.9 have been installed against it and it's working well. Thanks for the work.
Version 1.9.1 is in, now. Thanks
It needs a ~ppc arch keyword.
It's still really slow on ppc, but it does work. Marked ~ppc. Closing since we're the last arch.
