So , yes /usr/include/kdemacros.h has the following lines #ifdef __cplusplus # include <QtCore/qglobal.h> According to equery belongs qglobal.h x11-libs/qt-core-4.4.2 (/usr/include/qt4/QtCore/qglobal.h) and equery belongs kdemacros.h kde-base/kdelibs-4.1.3-r1 (/usr/include/kdemacros.h) This bug seems irrelevant with compizconfig-backend . It seems more like a problem with your qt/kdelibs Please tell us which version of qt and kdelibs are you using Try to re-emerge both of them and try to rebuild compizconfig-backend-kconfig again As a more aggresive solution i would suggest to change on /usr/include/kdemacros.h the following part #ifdef __cplusplus # include <QtCore/qglobal.h> with #ifdef __cplusplus # include <qt4/QtCore/qglobal.h> and try to rebuild compizconfig-backend-kconfig again Its a rough solution and im sure that it will fail again later So, first of all rebuild kdelibs and qt Thanks
qt-4.4.2 and kdelibs-4.1.3-r1 is installled: root@condor:/root(101)# qlist -I -v | grep -E "qt-|kdelibs" dev-db/qt-unixODBC-3.3.8b kde-base/kdelibs-3.5.10-r2 kde-base/kdelibs-4.1.3-r1 x11-libs/qt-3.3.8b x11-libs/qt-4.4.2 x11-libs/qt-assistant-4.4.2 x11-libs/qt-core-4.4.2 x11-libs/qt-dbus-4.4.2 x11-libs/qt-gui-4.4.2 x11-libs/qt-opengl-4.4.2 x11-libs/qt-qt3support-4.4.2 x11-libs/qt-script-4.4.2 x11-libs/qt-sql-4.4.2 x11-libs/qt-svg-4.4.2 x11-libs/qt-test-4.4.2 x11-libs/qt-webkit-4.4.2 x11-libs/qt-xmlpatterns-4.4.2
This is another -kdeprefix bug.
I reemerged qt, qt-core and kdelibs. But I still can't emerge compizconfig-backend-kconfig-0.7.8. Juergen
I've got the same problem (not only with this package). It's because the configure script detects /usr/include as directory for kde headers and not /usr/kde/3.5/include. As the KDE 4 headers are installed in /usr/include I think that a parallel install of kde 3 and 4 causes this mess. Does anyone know, how to fix this already?
Reemerging all the affected packages with kdeprefix flag solves this bug for me, although it takes some time and it's just a workaround.
Hi Gergely, which packages did you reemerge with the kdeprefix flag? Juergen
Hi, I just set kdeprefix in the make.conf and run an emerge -avuND world, which basically reemerged the whole kde-meta:4.1. Since I have ccache enabled, it took only some hours to reemerge those packages. Gergely
This one is seems related to http://bugs.gentoo.org/247314 . As far as I could grep from the comments, they fixed it by adding "--includedir=${KDEDIR}/include" and "Note that ebuild calls set-kdedir 3 before.". Hope it helps.
The ebuild patch attached to bug 248293 worked for me.
(In reply to comment #7) > Hi Gergely, > > which packages did you reemerge with the kdeprefix flag? > > Juergen > Please, apply the patch from bug #248293 and tell us whether it works for you.
The patch worked for me as well. I suggest adding it to the package and marking this one as "fixed".
