I have posted a very similar ebuild here: http://bugs.gentoo.org/attachment.cgi?id=261472&action=edit (tested on both x86 and amd64) As part of this (now closed as duplicate) bug: http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=353659 Are there any reasons why this ebuild is not moved to the main tree? Seems straightforward to me.
Can someone explain why we need a maintainer for a simple package that just works and hasn't required any updates in years? Why not just add it as-is?
