Hi,

   This a C compiler for 8051, z80's, PICs and some other small
microcontrollers. I think gentoo lacks some support for microcontroller
programming and an ebuild for this one would be great.

http://sdcc.sourceforge.net/snap.php (the tar.gz for the nightly e-builds can be
found here, althought the website is somewhat unmaintened, the program is under
development, as one can see by browsing the cvs tree)

i personally prefer the latter.
