Description Jeremy Murphy 2008-11-04 12:41:45 UTC
Ebuild is using "cc" instead of "${CHOST}-cc" so if one of your distcc servers is hosted on a different architecture, compilation fails, even if the appropriate cross-compiler is present.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge distcc
2. enable/configure distcc
3. emerge f2c

Actual Results:
>>> Compiling source in /home/portage/dev-lang/f2c-20030320-r1/work/src ...
cc -O2 -march=pentium-m -pipe -fomit-frame-pointer -o xsum xsum.c

Expected Results:

This bug is fixed in dev-lang/f2c-20060507, however it is still ~arch.

Oddly enough this has already been fixed in dev-lang/f2c-20060507 so maybe that version should be stabilised and the older one removed.
Comment 2 Sébastien Fabbro (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2008-11-26 17:02:47 UTC
f2c-20060507 finally stable, closing.
