But not a simple one. A lot of things seem to have been changed. While the logging patch is probably no longer needed, the wm selection has to probably be redone. However, so much was changed there, that some real python skills are needed even to see what needs to be done.
Exactly - That's why I haven't put this in the tree yet :) But it's on my radar, I just need to find time to make sure it actually works right before I throw it in there.
Created attachment 191586 [details, diff] patch to silence warnings logging patch is no longer needed, I commented out the wm patch (thogh this one may still be necessary, but it's only for new users, so it's bit hard to tell for me). I also use this patch - AFAICT, it doesn't really change anything, just silences several screens of warnings (to be applied after 'cd "${WORKDIR}/${MY_PN}"'). It still displays a dbus warning at startup, but that has to be fixed by someone, who knows a bit about dbus.
