app-text/acroread is listed as a dependency for netscape-flash-10_beta20080811. While it is possible to build it after removing acroread from the ebuild. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Add app-text/acroread back to the ebuild 2. emerge -av netscape-flash 3. Actual Results: These are the packages that would be merged, in order: Calculating dependencies... done! worst. acroread depends on xulrunner-bin-1.8 (firefox 2.x IIAC) :(
It is possible to build netscape-flash-10* without acroread but it is not possible to use it without that. What is worse, now I cannot even downgrade to 9, it just fails to unpack.
Does any one know why flash now depends on acroread? I also dont want to have acroread but I some times need to use flash.
"We are Micro^H^H^H^H^HAdobe, and WE want YOU to use our software, and ONLY OUR software" Perhaps flash now uses some function from acroread; which -obviously- sucks.
