Description Mauricio L. Pilla (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2008-08-16 18:13:29 UTC
I've put together an ebuild for kdebluetooth4-0.1 that compiles with the new KDE 4.1 in the git. kdebluetooth4 doesn't seem to do much though.

Reproducible: Always

Hello. Any chance this get into official portage ?
Comment 3 Jorge Manuel B. S. Vicetto (RETIRED) Gentoo Infrastructure gentoo-dev 2008-10-11 19:36:10 UTC
kdebluetooth-4.0.2 has been added to the kde-testing overlay.
With time and testing it shall be put in the tree.

Kdebluetooth4-0.3 compiles fine with gcc-4.3.3 on ~amd64. Please move it to portage. KDE 4 without bluetooth is crippled in my opinion.

But does it for for you? I don't see a tray icon and (kbluetooth4-devicemanager, kbluetooth4-inputwizard) just crash after starting :-(

What's the status on this? Why was it set to 'RESOLVED LATER'?
Comment 7 David Kredba 2009-03-24 05:38:09 UTC
It is not working at all, Martin Gysel is right.
I reported it upstream as bug 184536. It seems that they are not so much interested in it.
Comment 8 Michael Duelli 2009-04-18 19:52:16 UTC
Isn't this a duplicate of bug #246381 or vice versa?
Comment 9 Jonathan Callen (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2009-10-17 08:47:06 UTC
reopening to resolve
