This is eselect bug: it should not expand text which is supposed to be highlighted or printed.
Problem is in write_list_start (file output.bash) and trivial to fix: - echo -n -e $(apply_text_highlights "${colour}" "$*") + echo -n -e "$(apply_text_highlights "${colour}" "$*")" Committed to trunk (r407) and 1.0.x branch (r408).
