Description Fred Krogh 2008-07-05 17:38:41 UTC
After typing an s, and then anything following tkinfo immediately gives this:

can't read "::tk_library": no such variable
can't read "::tk_library": no such variable
   while executing
"file join $::tk_library msgs"
   ....
There was more, but the "Save to Log" button doesn't work, and there is no copy and paste from the window with the message.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. tkinfo
2. s
3. x

emerge --info gives

Portage 2.2_rc1 (default-linux/amd64/2007.0, gcc-4.3.1, glibc-2.8_p20080602-r0, 2.6.25-gentoo-r6 x86_64)

Sorry I missed the fact that tkinfo was printing the following on startup. This error persists after re-emerging both tk-8.4.18 and tkinfo-2.8. There is a file tk.tcl --

This probably means that tk wasn't installed properly.
