Build of sys-devel/gcc-4.3.1 fails (full text included in 'Actual results' textbox). Fails on two up to date Gentoo machines (Opteron 2212 and Core2 Q6600). See bug 225545 and bug 225585. You should upgrade to sys-libs/glibc-2.7-r2 before emerging GCC 4.3.x.
Well, I'm at 2.7-r2, and gcc-4.3.1 will not compile ok.
Same problem here. I have gcc 4.2.4 and glibc-2.7-r2.
