Keep track of packages, which will break with >=media-gfx/imagemagick-6.3.8.5. This might be useful for a (possible) stabilization. ChangeLog entry from upstream: 2008-02-03 6.3.8-5 Cristy <quetzlzacatenango@image...> # New Unix/Linux refactoring (should be transparent since changes are reflected in Magick-config and ImageMagick.pc pkg-config files): /usr/local/include => /usr/local/include/ImageMagick libMagick => libMagickCore libWand => libMagickWand Magick-config (deprecated) => MagickCore-config Wand-config (deprecated) => MagickWand-config Add Magick++-config, MagickCore.pc, MagickWand.pc, Magick++.pc
Don't mean to sound ungrateful, but could people be prodded into action regarding the two remaining unclosed bugs? They both appear to have solutions, according to the comments, but don't seem to have any activity as regards actually closing them. Stabilisation of newer imagemagick is much desired; see bug #212566 and its many duplicates. I've seen two failed OpenOffice builds in as many days due to this, and that's a highly annoying build to have to restart - on one machine I'd left it building overnight, planning to use it the next morning, only to find it had broken part way through.
hum... hey? I guess all bugs that blocks this one were fixed. Maybe this is time to mark this as fixed and finally unblock bug 212566, and thus finally stabilize a new imagemagick version. Well, at least this is what I can understand from looking at this bug.
I am having problems regarding imagemagick with different vdr-plugins. I am currently compiling a list of failing plugins to give feedback here.
closing as it is not needed anymore.
