Description:   Opened: 2008-04-06 04:23 0000
qterm-0.4.0-r1.ebuild says DEPEND="dev-lang/python" without specifying the
required Python version. However, the configure script checks only Python
versions 2.0 to 2.4, but not 2.5. So if I have only Python 2.5 installed, the
dependency is satisfied, but actually the application is compiled without
support for Python scripts.

------- Comment #1 From Arne Babenhauserheide 2008-04-09 06:06:01 0000 -------
Does that mean that the current ebuild should depend on <=dev-lang/python-2.4*
?

Besides: qterm 0.5.1 was released this month. #216983

Maybe that one fixes this issue. 0.5 is "not recommended for daily use" though.

Updated the ebuild according to bug description, (untested)

------- Comment #3 From Thomas Anderson (tanderson) 2008-06-16 20:16:14 0000 -------
The newer version of qterm does not have python enabled(it is not possible to
enable it as well. Simply removing the old ebuilds will fix the issues in this
bug.

------- Comment #4 From Santiago M. Mola 2008-06-20 14:11:00 0000 -------
Please, ppc and x86 stabilize qterm-0.5.2.

------- Comment #5 From Christian Faulhammer 2008-06-21 09:22:41 0000 -------

------- Comment #6 From nixnut 2008-06-21 13:53:56 0000 -------
