Is this en up2date tree? This is something that could happen with outdated
eclasses. Please post the output of JAVA_PKG_DEBUG=1 emerge -1 xmlc.

-check.junit:
     [echo] JUnit is not currently available to the build environment. Because
of this, all targets that require JUnit will be skipped. To enable these
targets, place a copy of JUnit (get latest version at http://www.junit.org/) in
ANT_HOME/lib.

resynced and now it emerges fine, x86 stable.

xmlc-2.3 won't compile on stable here without dev-java/junit-3.8.2-r1

amd64 stable, last arch closing bug.

(stabled nekohtml too)
