        The guide is a great aide for a newbie, but there is something I
        take exception to.  In section 15 "Installing the kernel and a System
Logger" Code listing 15.2 should be split into two listings.  For
someone as forgetful as myself, I'll do the first two commands, then
look at listing 15.3 and forget all about the last two commands in
15.2.  This results in a kernel panic on the first reboot (Very
frustrating mistake to find).

        Thanks for the time you've put into making gentoo better, I had a
        lot of fun installing and can't wait to get to work with it:)
