Current stable version is rather dated... please stabilize 1.0.13. Note for testing, because of repeated questions: FEATURES="test" is *not* a useful way of testing PECL extensions - at least until we provide some sort of test framework to use the shipped test (if any). 1/ Compile, restart your webserver and check that the extension is loaded and shown in phpinfo() output. 2/ Use some sample code to test the extension. E.g., grab http://indexdata.dk/phpyaz/demo/mult.phps, stick it somewhere where your webserver can see it, enter some search term into the box and see if it finds something ;) Also check webserver logs for segfaults etc. 3/ And/or grab some application that uses those features (e.g. - kde-misc/tellico w/ USE=yaz here.) and test whether it compiles and works.
