After upgrading xorg-server from 1.3.0.0-r2 to 1.3.0.0-r3, vlc, amule, netbeans
crashed when launching it with this

VLC media player 0.8.6c Janus
The program '.' received an X Window System error.
This probably reflects a bug in the program.
The error was 'BadAlloc (insufficient resources for operation)'.
  (Details: serial 204 error_code 11 request_code 148 minor_code 5)

I also try to re-emerge vlc 0.8.6c but still crashing 

After downgrading xorg-server to 1.3.0.0-r2, everything's fine
