I was wondering what the 'gd' flag for glibc did, since the usual definition for that flag didn't seem to make sense for glibc's case. It doesn't appear that the ebuild actually uses this flag at all anymore (using glibc-2.7-r1)... Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce:
$(use_with gd) -> highly something to be called unused.
This bug should be reopened because it comes up on a Google search for 'glibc gd'. As of today, the website corresponds with comment #0. This is either a documentation problem or a misplaced USE flag. Can this be determined and assigned accordingly?
Sorry, meant to include URL. http://www.gentoo-portage.com/sys-libs/glibc/USE#ptabs
