zaptel 1.2.22.1 in cvs.
Comment 3 michael perigard 2008-01-22 12:01:07 UTC
why is this marked fixed? I'm confused, as the regression bug for 2.6.23 says:
Please don't mark bugs as fixed until the fix is in the stable tree.

and eix today tells me 1.2.22.1 isn't stable yet:
[I] net-misc/zaptel
     Available versions: 1.2.9.1-r1 ~1.2.11-r1 ~1.2.12 1.2.12-r1 1.2.16 1.2.18 [M]~1.2.18-r1 ~1.2.22.1 ~1.2.22.1-r1

does this mean I shouldn't expect the latest stable zaptel package (1.2.18 as of today) to work with 2.6.23 and I should set net-misc/zaptel to ~x86? I *am* okay with that, it's just not very clear.

right sorry.

waiting on bug #205975.
Comment 5 Rajiv Aaron Manglani (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2008-01-28 06:31:28 UTC
please try net-misc/zaptel-1.2.23 which is now in the tree (but marked unstable).
